HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM goes official in Taiwan for $185

HTC has launched the HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM in its home country – Taiwan. It is priced at the same price as the Single SIM variant – TWD 5990 (USD 185) in White Birch and Blue Lagoon colours. The device is available in Taiwan, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other MEA (Middle East & Africa) regions.

The HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM sports the same body build as the Desire 626 but some of the specifications has changed. The most notable differs are: the RAM has upgraded from 1GB to 2GB and the processor is now an octa-core Mediatek MT6752 from quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410. 

Moving to the specs, the Desire 626 Dual SIM (D626q) sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage.

For video chats and selfies – there is a front facing 5MP camera, the main camera is a 13MP f/2.2 snapper with BSI sensor and for additional storage up to 128GB there is a microSD card slot. Connectivity options on the HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM includes – Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11n, GPS and 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4).

The HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM has Dual Nano SIM slots, measures 146.9 x 70.9 x 8.19mm in dimensions, weighs 140 grams, runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with HTC Sense UI ontop and is backed by a 2000mAh battery that is expected to provide up to 760 hours of standby time.
