HTC Desire 820G+ and Desire 626G+ launched in Taiwan

HTC has refreshed it’s Desire range of smartphones with new Dual SIM devices; the company has launched HTC Desire 820G+ Dual SIM and the HTC Desire 626G+ Dual SIM in Taiwan.

The Desire 820G+ is a relatively new device while the Desire 626G+ was launched in April in India. Both smartphones have almost the same specs but differ in screen sizes, front camera, and some other minor changes. 

The phablet sized HTC Desire 820G+ sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.

On the rear there is a 13MP camera with LED flash, front 8MP camera, Boomsound support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB 2.0, supports HTC Dotcase View, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with HTC Sense 6.0 UI ontop and 2600mAh battery. 

The HTC Desire 626G+ is an already familiar device, it sports a 5-inch HD display, powered by the same MT6592 Mediatek processor as the former with the same RAM (1GB) and internal storage space (8GB). It sports a rear 13MP camera with LED flash, front facing 5MP camera and 2600mAh battery. 

The HTC Desire 820G+ is currently selling in Taiwan for TWD 5990 ($194) and the HTC Desire 626G+ sells for TWD 4990 ($162); both devices would be available from the company as well as network carriers in the country.
