The HTC Desire 820s Dual SIM is the Dual SIM version of the Desire 820s which also shares similar specs with the Desire 820. The device would be available in India for a MRP of INR 25,500 but would be available at an operating price of INR 24,890.
The HTC Desire 820s Dual SIM sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor which clocks at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card on-board which supports up to 32GB space more.
On the rear, there is a 13MP camera with 2.8cm lens, f/2.2 aperture and a front 8MP camera; both cameras have BSI sensor and records 1080p videos. Connectivity options on the device includes – microUSB 2.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with AptX enabled, 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE, 3G WCDMA and LTE Cat.4 (both TDD and FDD bands are supported) as well as proximity, accelerometer, compass, and ambient light sensor options.
The Desire 820s Dual SIM (D820ts) sports the signature front facing HTC boomsound speakers, HTC Blinkfeed, and has a two-tone unibody with colour trims around the flash, camera and buttons. The device runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS with HTC Sense 6 UI on-top and is backed by a 2600mAh Li-Polymer battery which is expected to provide up to 560 hours of standby time; and about 12.1 hours of talk-time.
The HTC Desire 820s Dual SIM measures 157.7 x 78.7 x 7.7mm in dimensions, weighs 155 grams, both Dual SIM slots supports Nano SIMS, and is available in Tuxedo Grey colour option. The launch would see the HTC Dot Case View accompany the device which provides access to the device without opening the cover.
