We have seen two HTC devices pass through TENAA certification today, first it was the HTC Desire D816h and now we have seen the HTC Desire 820us with a 64-bit octa-core Mediatek SoC.
The HTC Desire 820us may actually be the first smartphone to pack the latest 64-bit octa-core Mediatek processor. The device actually runs on the MediaTek MT6752 chipset with an 8-core 64-bit CPU running at 1.7GHz and 2GB of RAM.
The device has a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera for selfies, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for expansion and runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS. The device has the same design language as the HTC one M8, has two front facing speakers (maybe with Boomsound technology) and measures 157.7 x 74.4 x 7.74mm in dimensions.
The HTC Desire 820us would likely debut in China soon in Blue, Black, White, Gray, Green, Orange and Pink colour option. An international version could be in the pipeline but no word on it yet.
