HTC has launched the HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM smartphone in India; the phablet sized device is priced at Rs 26,900 ($423) and is expected to be available by the end of June.
The HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with Adreno 406 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB).
On the rear, there is a 13MP f/2.2 camera with LED flash and a front facing Ultrapixel camera for selfies. The device measures 7.74mm thin, weighs 155 grams, has the signature front facing Boomsound speakers with Dolby Audio, HTC Eye Experience, Dual Band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and Bluetooth.
The HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM is backed by a 2600mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with HTC Sense UI ontop. The Desire 826 is the first Desire range of device to run Android Lollipop OS and was unveiled at the CES 2015 earlier this year.
