HTC has started receiving pre-order for the HTC Desire 828 online in China from the company’s website for a price tag of CNY 1599 (USD 255). The phablet device is the first in the Desire range of devices to have Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature on the main camera.
Moving to the specs, the HTC Desire 828 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS with HTC Sense 6. UI ontop and is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 2TB.
In the camera segment, the main camera is a 13-Megapixels camera with LED flash and OIS; a front facing 5-Megapixels camera for Selfies. Connectivity option on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot and 4G LTE. Sensor options onboard includes – gravity sensor, proximity sensor, ambient light, digital compass and magnetic sensor.
Measuring 157.7 x 78.9 x 7.9mm in dimensions and weighing 150 grams in size; the HTC Desire 828 has dual Nano-SIM card slots with Dual Standby, Dual front stereo Boomsound speakers, 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS LCD display and is backed by a 2800mAh battery with fast charging. Available colour options are Grey and White.
