HTC Desire Eye Tipped to Feature a 13MP Front Camera

We know HTC has announced an event for October 8th, and we have seen different reports concerning the products we should expect from the company. HTC is said to be working on a smartphone with 13MP front facing camera and a 13MP rear camera with LED flash. This isn’t a surprise as more smartphones are increasing the front camera so users can have quality selfie camera shots.

HTC Desire Eye(a.k.a EYE); S801 2.3GHz*4, 5.2

The device dubbed the HTC Desire Eye was spilled by fast rising tipster @uplaeaks; the device is tipped to feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display, powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with a quad-core Krait 400 processor at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, IPX7 water resistance certification and removable 2400mAh battery. The HTC Desire Eye is said to run on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS with HTC Sense 6.0 UI and Eye camera app ontop.

Whether the HTC Desire Eye is will debut alongside the One (M8) Eye with 13MP duo camera, the HTC ReCamera and a Selfie-Centric camera app are all expected at the event.

The Selfie-centric camera app would come to HTC One, One mini, One (M8), One mini 2, One (E8) and One Max with the upcoming Android L firmware updates. Till then we just have to keep our fingers crossed.
