The Nexus M1 is reportedly modelled on the HTC 10 flagship and expected to run Android 7.0.1 Nougat OS from the onset. The device sports a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display and relies on the Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM.

Internal storage is pegged at either 32GB or 128GB while the cameras are a rear facing 12-megapixel camera and a front facing 8-megapixels camera for selfies. The HTC Nexus M1 could end up with a fingerprint scanner on rear, USB Type-C port and two speaker grilles at the bottom.‎
