HTC has officially announced a new variant of the flagship, HTC One M9. The HTC One M9 INK as the smartphone is known would be available in Limited Edition and comes with an engraving which draws its inspiration from body art.
HTC teamed up with British Supermodel, Jourdan Dunn who will promote the devices as the global HTC INK ambassador and Popular British Tattoo Artist, Cally-Jo to create the body art/engraving on the device. The engraving consists of two symbols – an eye and a hand; the eye represents strength and sincerity, while the hand represents protection and positivity.
The Limited Edition HTC One M9 INK has the same specs and body build as the original and asides the engraving there is no indication the former is very different from the latter. Unless some added perks are added into the internals to reflect the special edition. There is no word on official pricing and availability of the device yet but there are indication it would be first available in the UK.
