According to a new report, the HTC One A9 (Hima Aero) would be powered by the just announced Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617. The SoC has 8 x Cortex A53 cores, Adreno 405 GPU, supports LTE Cat.7 download speeds (up to 300Mbps) and clocks up to 1.5GHz.
The device is expected to sport a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD AMOLED display in a full metal body build, 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB or more. On the back is a 13MP main camera with OIS and on the front is a 4MP Ultrapixel camera.
The HTC One A9 will arrive in 6 different colour options to choose from by November with a fingerprint scanner onboard in a somewhat slim body (around 7mm thin). It is backed by a 2150mAh battery.
The leak didn’t however confirm if the One A9 will truly be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s Sense 7 UI ontop but there possibilities that could be the case as the launch has been supposedly shifted from October to November. More on this as the story unfolds.
