HTC One E9+ Official specs Listed on Company’s website

After the device has surfaced in numerous leaks, HTC has quietly announced the HTC One E9+ (pronounced HTC One E9 Plus) phablet which is their second device in less than a month and their first with a Quad HD display. The One E9+ follows the HTC One M9 which has been said to have overheating issues thanks-but-no-thanks to the smoking Qualcomm snapdragon 810 SoC.

HTC is visibly targeting the Chinese and Asian market with the One E9+ as it opts for a MediaTek processor; it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6795M processor with 3GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot) and a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a pixel density of 534ppi. The main camera is a 20MP unit with Single LED flash and a front facing 4MP Ultrapixel which can take selfies in low light condition is onboard. 

There is a less powerful HTC One E9 also said to debut; it sports most of the same specs but a Full HD (1080 X 1920 pixels) resolution display and a rear 13MP camera.

Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm Audio jack, micro USB 2.0, and Wi-Fi. As expected the HTC One E9+ has Dual SIM functionality, the compny’s front facing HTC Boomsound Stereo speakers with Dolby Technology, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with HTC Sense UI custom interface ontop.

The HTC One E9+ is available in three colour options; White, Black and Grey with Silver trims and Gold frame. HTC has scheduled an event for April 8th in Beijing, we expect the company to announce some smartphones and a tablet also.
