Leaks Phablet Phones

HTC One E9 Specs confirmed via TENAA

HTC was expected to announce two flagship smartphones at the MWC alongside a supposed high-end smartphone from the desire range – HTC A55. As it turns out the company only announced the One M9 flagship and even its plus variant didn’t see a debut. The HTC One M9 Plus has been spotted in some leaked images showing the device truly exist and we have the HTC One E9 which has first been tipped to be an HTC Desire smartphone. The already known HTC A55 turns out to be the One E9.

The HTC One E9 has payed a visit to Chinese regulation agency, TENAA which as is the norm shows details of the the device. The device is expected to have a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB space of internal storage and would be powered by the 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MT6795 chipset with  PowerVR G6200 GPU.

The device sports a 20MP with a circular lens and the front camera is either a 13MP unit or the 4MP Ultrapixel camera. It offers Dual SIM with dual standby, measures 156.5 x 76.5 x 7.5mm in dimensions, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Sense 7.0 UI ontop, BoomSound speakers and a 2800mAh battery capacity is on-board.

Curiously the HTC One E9 was expected to be a not-so smaller version of the One M9 and it is looking more likely that the One E9 is another flagship device on its own. There is no word on availability and pricing but it would come in Brown Gold, White Rose Gold and Metallic Grey colour options.
