With confirmed reports that, Samsung is finishing works on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime a variant of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S5, we can also confirm that reports have surfaced that HTC is also looking to launch the premium variant of its recently released flagship smartphone, HTC One M8 dubbed the HTC One M8 Prime and it is speculated to be released in September.
Based on released prototypes, the HTC One M8 Prime is speculated to feature a 5.5-inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution Display which is the same display expected to be on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime and the LG G3 flagship smartphone which is expected Q2 this year. Other features include: 2.3GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 805 APQ8084 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, USB 3.0 port, 18.0MP & 5UP Dual camera with sensors.
It might take a while before the HTC One M8 Prime debuts which means the specs may still change, but with Samsung set to release Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Apple the iPhone 6, and LG the G3 later this year, HTC would definitely be getting the HTC One M8 Prime towards that time. HTC is also rumoured to be releasing the HTC One Mini 2.
