The next generation of the HTC One flagship smartphone – the HTC One M9 and the HTC One M9 Plus are both expected to be launched on March 1. While we know most of the specs coming from both devices; benchmark website – Compubench has confirmed most of the specs.
Starting with the HTC One M9, the listing confirms a 5-inch 1080p display, with 3GB of RAM, 32GB space of internal storage and the processor would be the Qualcomm snapdragon 810 SoC (4 cortex-A57 and 4 Cortex-A53) with Adreno 430 GPU.
While the listing confirms the 20MP main camera, the front camera is listed as 13MP instead of the the 4MP Ultrapixel we have been hearing about. Both cameras record 4K videos, it would have NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and would run on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OS.
With the HTC One M9 Plus, the listing states it would have a 5.1-inch display instead of the phablet sized 5.5-inch display we have seen in numerous leaks. The display resolution still remains QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels), runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and would be powered by an octa-core Mediatek Soc.
The MediaTek SoC in question is the Medatek MT6795 SoC (8 cortex A53 cores) with PowerVR Rogue G6200 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage (23GB user available). It also uses the same camera unit as the One M9.
HTC is also expected to announce the HTC Butterfly 3 which is another device with QHD resolution sitting on a 5.2-inch display. All would be unveiled at the MWC 2015.
