Leaks Phones Rumours

HTC One M9 (HTC Hima) appears in live images, MWC 2015 launch tipped

Over the past few weeks, more and more details of the upcoming HTC One M9 has surfaced in leaks. There were suggestions that the One M8 Successor would be called HTC Hima (not the One M9).

As it turns out the Hima Moniker is just the codename for the upcoming HTC One M9 which has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmark listing. The device has also confirmed by Bloomberg which says the m9 and HTC’s first smartwatch would both make their debut at the MWC 2015 which starts on March this year.

The HTC One M9 has similar design with the One M8 and based on the body build you won’t really spot much differences. According to an image of the device gotten from Phandroid, the device has its power button moved to the sides below the volume buttons on the right edge of the device.

So far the available specs on the upcoming flagship suggests it would sport 5-inch display possibly in two resolution formats – QHD (1440p) and Full HD (1080p). Under the hood is the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC with Adreno 430 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 20.7MP main camera with Dual LED flash and front Ultrapixel camera.

The cameras will definitely come with HTC Experience features which debuted with the HTC Desire Eye. The device would run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with HTC Sense 7.0 UI on-top and backed by a 2840mAh battery.

There is still time between now and March 1st which the MWC 2015 would commence. And the company has not even confirmed any of these rumours associated with the HTC One M9 but there is no smoke without fire and the leaks must have been coming from somewhere (possibly an Insider). We will follow this down the line till the device breaks cover.
