The HTC One A9 is barely a month old and we have already gotten wind of another new smartphone from HTC having similar appearances as the HTC One M9 – the HTC One M9e. The device is already listed up on TMall.com for a somewhat steep price tag of CNY 2699 ($425).
We have covered key details of the HTC One M9e before when it surfaced on TENAA back in May. According to this listing, it packs a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD LCD display, has the same design language and the dual front facing Boomsound speakers with Dolby Audio can be easily located on the front.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio X10 (MT6795T) processor clocked at 2.2GHz with PowerVR G6200 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB expandable internal storage space. It supports 2G/3G/4G LTE networks and also has Bluetooth 4.1 BLE, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11ac on-board.
For photography, the HTC One M9e has a 13MP main camera with OIS, Dual LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 27.8mm lens; the front camera is the 4MP Ultrapixel camera with 26.8mm lens and f/2.0 aperture. Both cameras record 1080 pixels video.
Running 69.7 x 144.6 x 9.61 mm in dimension and weighing 157 grams in size; the One M9e is backed by a 2840mAh Li-Polymer battery and runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS with the company’s Sense UI ontop. Available colour options includes Gold, Gunmetal Grey and Silver.
