HTC One ME Dual SIM with Helio X10 Processor Launched in India

HTC has officially launched the HTC One ME Dual SIM smartphone in India; it would be available in Classic Rose Gold and Meteor Grey Colour options. The One ME Dual SIM is priced at INR 40,500 ($640) and would be available starting this weekend.

The HTC One ME (also known as HTC One ME9) was initially announced for China; it is the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Helio X10 processor and is the second smartphone from HTC to have a Quad-HD display and fingerprint sensor.

Moving to the specs, the HTC One ME Dual SIM features a 5.2-inch QHD display and has a poly carbonate body build. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795T processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB).

On the rear, there is a 20MP camera with 4K Video recording and Dual LED flash. The front camera is a 4MP Ultrapixel camera which was used on the HTC One M8. Connectivity options on the device includes – NFC, Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, DLNA, GPS with A-GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and LTE.

Talking about the LTE, it supports Indian network bands – 1800Mhz (Band 3) and 2600 MHz (Band 40) but this is said to be restricted to some regions. The HTC One ME Dual SIM supports Dual SIM functionality, has a fingerprint sensor on the home button, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Sense UI and is backed by a 2840mAh battery.
