HTC One ME Goes with MediaTek Helio X10 chipset announced

HTC has added a new premium Android Lollipop OS smartphone to its One series of devices – the HTC One ME (HTC One ME9). It would be Available in China (and other Asian markets eventually) in Gold Sepia, Rose Gold and Meteor Grey colour option with the pricing details not revealed.

The HTC One ME is the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Helio X10 chipset; it is a 64-bit octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz. This chipset is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB).

The phablet sized One ME uses a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display and has a main 20MP camera with (UHD) 4K video recording and Dual LED flash. The front camera is a 4MP Ultrapixel camera for selfies.

Connectivity options on the HTC One ME includes – LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC and micro USB. It supports Dual SIM slots, has the front facing Boomsound speakers with Dolby Surround, fingerprint sensor and runs on Android Lollipop OS with Sense UI ontop. It is backed by a 2840mAh battery. 

There is no word on if the HTC One ME would be announced for other regions except China and Asia.
