HTC has quietly listed the HTC Rapid Charger 2.0 and is ready to launch the USB charger which devices – both smartphones and tablets to charge by almost 40 percent faster than the normal regular time. The charger uses Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology which debuted alongside the. Snapdragon 800 SoC and ever since has been present in subsequent chipset versions.
The HTC Rapid Charger 2.0 is said to be compatible with all HTC smartphones and any microUSB based phones and tablets; but the following smartphones has been listed to take advantage of the Rapid Charger
- HTC One M8,
- HTC One E8,
- HTC One Remix,
- HTC One M8 Harman Kardon Edition,
- HTC Desire Eye.
There is no option to buy the HTC Rapid Charger 2.0 as of now as both the pricing and availability details are missing along with the listing. But it is safe to say it would cost in the same range as the Motorola Turbo Charger which costs around $34.99.
