HTC is supposedly planning on announcing its next flagship smartphone and it’s first smartwatch at the MWC 2015. The flagship phone is said to come with a more advanced camera and audio features and the smartwatch is looking like to to run on Android Wear OS.
According to Bloomberg, the next HTC flagship smartphone is codenamed M9 and it would sport a rear facing 20MP camera and a front facing Ultrapixel camera. The new smartphone would resemble its predecessor in size and design and would come in Gray, Silver & Gold colour options.
The smartphone would run on the 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 which comes with advanced video features and the device would use the dolby 5.1 audio technology. The flagship would definitely run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with HTC Sense 7 user interface on-top with more improved location based services.
There is not much information on the smartwatch yet but it is said to be developed in partnership with with Under Armour Inc.’s (UA) fitness service and run on Google’s wearable platform – Android Wear OS.
There have been talks of the company’s next flagship being called the HTC Hima, and it has been spotted on AnTuTu listing. HTC is also said to be planning a more a more advanced phablet version knows as the the HTC Hima Ace.
