HTC’s U smartphone series, which already has the U11 and the fresh U11+ flagship, has added a new member in form of the HTC U11 Life. The mid-ranger comes with the Edge Sense technology feature and is available in two variants: the Android One model with Android 8.0 Oreo and Sense model with Android 7.1 Nougat.
Both models rely on the Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor and available in either 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage space. It has an IP67-rated body (water and dust resistant) and depends on a 2600mAh built-in battery with QuickCharge 3.0.
Photography is handled by a rear 16MP camera with LED flash, PDAF, BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording along with a front facing 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording. It sports a 5.2-inch FHD Super LCD 16:9 display and compensates for the lack of the 3.5mm audio jack with HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation.
The HTC U11 Life will arrive in Brilliant Black and Sapphire Blue colours. The Sense UI model with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at US$ 349 and available in the US exclusively through T-Mobile. The HTC U11 Life Android One with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage costs EUR 395 / GBP 349 in Europe and the UK respectively.
