HTC Wildfire X with Android Pie, Triple Rear Cameras

According to various reports, HTC has reportedly licensed out its “Wildfire” brand name to a Chinese firm, InOne Smart Technology – the same company making Lava-branded smartphones in India. The Indian version of the Taiwanese company website has listed the HTC Wildfire X – a classic mid-range smartphone with waterdrop notch and MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) octa-core processor.

The smartphone has a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD 19:9 display with 88.8% screen-to-body ratio, 8MP selfie camera with 86-degree FoV and a 3,300mAh built-in battery with 10W fast charger via USB Type-C port. The rear camera setup has a primary 12MP (1.25μm) sensor, 8MP sensor for 2x optical zoom & 8x hybrid zoom and 5MP depth sensor for portrait shots and bokeh effects.

The HTC Wildfire X dons a 7.95mm thin body with 3D OPVD mirror finish & Hyper Optical patterns, rear fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack and runs Android 9 Pie. The ‘Mybuddy’ security feature allows users share real-time location, record and transmit sound/video of the surrounding in real-time and trigger loud alarm. It comes in two memory configurations – 3GB/32GB and 4GB/128GB.

It is exclusively available on Flipkart and priced at INR 10,999 and INR 13,999 respectively. It will go on sale starting August 22nd. Black and Sapphire Blue are the available colour options.
