A couple of day ago, the HTC One X9 popped up online with one the supposed press presentation of the device surfacing on Weibo. Unlike the previous flagship specs expected, the HTC One X9 (HTC X9u) is actually a midrange phablet which runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS instead of Android 6.0 Marshmallow that shipped with the HTC One A9.
According to TENAA agency listing which has the device listed as HTC X9u; the HTC One X9 sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) and is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz (possibly the MediaTek Helio X10) paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage.
Looking at the images of the One X9 available; design-wise, it looks like a cross of the One A9 and the Nexus 6P by Huawei. It measures 153.2 x 75.9 x 7.99mm in dimensions, weighs 174 grams in size and has the same all metal unibody build which would hopefully not be reminiscent of the iPhone.
In the camera segment, the HTC One X9 has a rear facing 13MP camera with Dual Tone Flash and a front facing 5MP camera with selfies. The device has a microSD card slot for adding up to 1TB (Terabytes) of storage and supports GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD & WCDMA networks. It also has GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options.
