Huawei has just officially announced the Mate 8 flagship today; but it seems the company has another device in the works which has been spotted on GFXbench benchmark listing and could go official very soon. The new device is codenamed Huawei ABC-UL00 and is expected to complement the Honor series of device as the Honor 5X Plus.
Moving to the specifications, the Huawei ABC-UL00 (or Honor 5X Plus) sports a 5.2-inch display with (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, powered by an octa-core Hi-Silicon Kirin 935 processor clocked at 2.2GHz (4 x Cortex A53e + 4 x Cortex A53) with ARM Mali T624 GPU.
Operations is handles by 3GB of RAM, internal storage space stands at 64GB (out of which 53GB is user available) and a microSD card slot should be available for additional storage up to 128GB. We won’t rule out entirely if the device won’t be available in different storage and RAM configuration; and of course the cost is different for the options.
In the camera segment, there is a 13MP AutoFocus camera with LED and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies; both cameras record 1080p videos. The Huawei ABC-UL00 / Honor 5X Plus runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and supports NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS connectivity options.
