Huawei Angler: Huawei-Made Nexus Specs confirmed on Benchmark Listing

The only thing remaining is an official announcement from Google in respect of both upcoming Nexus smartphones; the devices would usher in Android 6.0 Marshmallow era properly.

The LG-made Nexus is codenamed LG Bullhead but could go official as the LG Nexus 5X or LG Nexus 5 (2015); while the Huawei-made Nexus phablet is codenamed – Huawei Angler but could go official as the Huawei Nexus or Huawei Nexus 6.

The Huawei Angler has been spotted on GFXBench and the benchmark listing confirms most of the earlier rumoured specs. The device sports a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.9GHz with Adreno 430 GPU. 

The chipset is paired with 3GB of RAM and native storage space stands at 32GB out of which 24GB is available to the user. A 64GB storage option is a possibility too; both storage version could likely have a microSD card slot. The main camera is a 13MP snapper and the front camera is a 8MP snapper. 

The listing confirms the Huawei Angler would have NFC connectivity which the Android Pay requires and the device also have other numerous sensor options. The device would undoubtedly run Android 6.0 Marshmallow from the onset but there is no word on battery capacity yet. 

We have to wait until the September 29th event to know more about the two nexus devices.
