Alongside the new Mate 20 Series smartphones including the PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate 20 RS, Huawei also launched two new wearables – the Huawei Watch GT and Huawei Band 3 Pro. The new wearables offer users the ability to track activities and receive fitness coaching.
Huawei Watch GT
Compatible with both Android and iOS phones, the Huawei Watch GT has a classic wristwatch design and runs Huawei’s proprietary LiteOS instead of Google’s Wear OS. It has GPS built-in for precise positioning, six-LED sensor, and supports continuous activity and heart rate tracking.
It has a 1.39-inch (454 x 254 pixels) AMOLED high-res display with 326 PPI, dual-crown design with 316L stainless steel and ceramic bezels, and DLC diamond carbon coating for extra durability. The built-in 420mAh battery aided by smart power-saving algorithm makes the watch lasts up to 30 days of battery life in basic mode and two weeks of frequent use mode.
The Huawei Watch GT is available in Classic and Sports mode, and is compatible with dual-color silicone band and a leather-rubber band. The Sport edition costs EUR 199 while the classic edition costs EUR 249.
Huawei Band 3 Pro
The Huawei Band 3 Pro is the company’s latest fitness tracker with monitoring capabilities including improved heart rate (Huawei TrueSeen 3.0) and sleep monitoring (Huawei TrueSleep 2.0). It has a 0.95-inch HD AMOLED color touch screen and users can navigate by swiping vertically or horizontally or by tapping the screen to return to home. Pricing starts at EUR 99.
