Huawei Ascend GX1 goes official wit 80.5% screen to body ratio

Some few days ago, the Huawei Ascend GX1 got certified on TENAA in China and fast forward today the device has been officially announced by the company. It would be available in its country at first for $255 (1590 CNY) and Huawei is expected to announced its global availability later.

The phablet sized Huawei Ascend GX1 packs a 6.0-inch 1280 x 720 pixels IPS display and like the flagship Ascend Mate 7 it also has a 80.5% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood is a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor which clocks at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage.

The device uses NFC, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity options; has Dual SIM card slot, a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera. The Huawei Ascend GX1 measures 161 x 84.5 x 9.2mm, weighs 173 grams and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. A 3500mAh battery keeps the device ticking.

The Huawei Ascend GX1 is available via the company’s official store for $255 only and only a white colour variant is available for now.
