Huawei’s upcoming phablet device, the Ascend Mate 7 has been tipped to debut on September 4th at the IFA 2014. Two devices has been spotted on TENAA with the Huawei MT7-CL00 and MT7-TL00; the MT7-CL00 supports GSM/TD-LTE/CDMA and the TL00 supports GSM/TD-LTE/TD-SCDMA network.
The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is expected to feature a 6-inch 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is said to be powered by a 1.8GHz Octa core processor, possibly the HiSilicon Kirin 920; it has an octa-core big.LITTLE processor with four Cortex-A7 and four Cortex-A15 cores with 2GB/3GB of RAM tipped. There is 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion (up to 128GB).
There is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 measures 157 x 81 x 7.9mm, weighs 185grams and runs on Android 4.4Kitkat OS with the latest Emotion UI on top.
The back plastic has been replaced with aluminium plate and there a fingerprint scanner below the camera. The device isset to be availablein Gold, Black and White colour options. There might also be an international version of the device with LTE Cat.6 if the teasers from the company are to go by.
The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is expected to debut at the IFA 2014 in Berlin.
