Huawei has unveiled one of the slimmest and lightest LTE smartphone in the market dubbed the Huawei Ascend P7. The device was launched at an event in Paris on Wednesday is the successor to the flagship Ascend P6 and the Ascend P6S.
The Ascend P7 features a 5-inch 1080p Full HD display with 445ppi pixel density coated with Gorilla Glass 3, has a dimension of 139.8mm x 68.8mm x 6.5mm, weighs 124g, powered by 1.8GHz Quad-core Hisilicon Kirin 910T processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 64GB with micro SD, 13MP rear facing camerawith Sony BSI sensor, 8MP front facing for better selfies and group-selfies (groufies), and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat skinned with Huawei Emotion UI 2.3.

In terms of connectivity, the Huawei Ascend P7 features NFC, Micro USB, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and 4G LTE; a battery capacity of 2500mAh.
Pricing And Availability
The Huawei Ascend P7 would be available in varieties of colours including Black, Pink & White; and would roll out across Europe including the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Serbia, Greece, Norway, Hungary, Denmark, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, China and the United Arab Emirates from May.
There are no details of its availability in the US, African markets and other Countries but it is expected to retail for €449 (around N101,000 and N103,000 in Nigerian Naira).

In terms of specifications the Ascend P7 competes with other top end smartphones with the Android OS, including the HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2. Also it would be a potential rival to the iPhone 5S and windows Phone OS Nokia Lumia 1020.
