A new Huawei Honor model smartphone with Huawei ATH-AL00 moniker for now has been certified on TENAA. Some of the key details of the device has been spotted and the device come an interesting unique sliding camera concept.
We have seen so many smartphones with rotating cameras, how about a sliding camera concept. The Huawei ATH-AL00 features a Sliding camera concept which means literally, the device doesn’t have a front camera, however, the user has to slide the rear camera up to take photos from the front.
When the user slides the camera up, the the front camera and a Dual flash shows up (can be seen in the pictures above). The rear camera also has Dual Flash or its likely both camera use the same LED flash. The device has physical camera shutter button, on the side there is another button which is used to pop up the camera and also act as a fingerprint scanner.
At the moment, most of the specs are unknown but the device has a bezel-less display, come with Dual-SIM slots and powered by an in-house made Hi-Silicon Kirin processor. The chipset is paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM which could means two models of the device. There is no amount of resolution for the camera yet but it protudes a little at the back.
We expect more details to rear up sometime soon and you should know that ‘Huawei ATH-AL00’ is not final name – it should be a Huawei Honor smartphone.
