The Huawei Enjoy 6, successor to last year’s Enjoy 5 has been officially announced in China today. The budget smartphone dons a 7.9 mm thick full metal unibody design, rear placed fingerprint sensor and depends on a sizeable 4100mAh battery, which should provide up to two days battery life.
The Huawei Enjoy 6 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD AMOLED display with 75% NTSC colour gamut and powered by a 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MT6750 processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with ARM Mali-T860 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 128GB.
For taking pictures, there is a rear facing 13MP f/2.2 camera with LED flash alongside a front facing 5MP camera with 83-degree wide-angle lens for selfies. The Enjoy 6 has a hybrid Dual SIM slot (nano + nano/microSD), measures 143.2 x 70.4 x 7.9 mm in dimensions and weighs in at 145 grams.
The Huawei Enjoy 6 supports 4G VoLTE and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with EMUI 4.1. It is priced at CNY 1299 (USD 191) and arrives in five colour options including Gold, Gray and White. It is already available on pre-order and will go on sale starting October 31st.
