Alongside the launch of the Honor 8 Pro (Honor V9) in the UK and Europe, Huawei also announced the European (Global) version of the Huawei Enjoy 6S under the Honor brand. The mid-range device will sell as the Honor 6C and arrive in Gold, Gray and Silver colours before the end of this month for EUR 229.
Pre-installed with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with EMUI 4.1, the Honor 6C sports a metal unibody design, 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D crved glass display, hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + nano / microSD) and a long lastin 3020mAh battery.
On the inside, the device relies on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in expandable storage space (up to 128GB via microSD). In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and LED Flash.
Just below the main camera sits the fingerprint sensor while the front camera is a front facing 5M snapper with f/2.2 aperture. The Honor 6C weighs 138 grams and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. It is available at select retailers in Europe and via Honor vMall.
