Huawei has sent out invites for the launch of two new phones in its Enjoy series and Honor sub-brand. The Huawei Enjoy 7S (FIG-AL00, FIG-AL10, FIG-TL00, FIG-TL10) will be unveiled at a dedicated event on December 18 in China while the Honor 9 Lite (LLD-TL10/AL00/AL10) will be launched three days later (December 21) at the Futian Sports Park in Shenzhen, China.
The Huawei Enjoy 7S and Honor 9 Lite have both been certified by TENAA with 18:9 FullScreen display and dual rear cameras. According to the listing, the duo have most of the core specs in common, however, the Honor 9 Lite has dual front cameras – 13MP + 2MP while the Enjoy 7S has a single 8MP front camera.
Either device packs a 5.65-inch 18:9 display with 2160 x 1080 pixels (Full HD+) resolution, octa-core Kirin 659 SoC, 13MP + 2MP Dual rear cameras,3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB built-in storage. Huawei’s EMUI 8.0 (based on Android 8.0) comes pre-loaded and power is derived from a 2,900 – 3,000mAh battery.
The Honor 9 Lite (or Honor 9 Youth Edition) is rumoured to be priced at CNY 1,299 (US$ 197) for the 3GB variant and CNY 1,599 (US$ 242) for the 4GB RAM variant. Pricing information for the Enjoy 7S is expected to be announced at the launch event.
