Huawei Enjoys 5S debuts with Fingerprint Sensor, 4G LTE, and Android 5.1

Huawei has officially announced the Huawei Enjoy 5S smartphone in China, the 5-inch device which was announced by China Telecom yesterday, has been listed up on the company’s online store – Vmall. It is priced at CNY 1199 (USD 187) and would go on sale starting December 10th in China.

The Huawei Enjoy 5S is a variant of the original Huawei Enjoy 5 with smaller battery capacity and now powered by an octa-core SoC but will find trouble outselling the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 which is selling for a lesser price and pack better specs.

The device sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, measures 43.5 x 71 x 7.6 mm in dimensions, weighs around 135 grams and is expected in three colour options including Gold and Silver. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MT6753T processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB expandable internal storage space.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with EMUI 3.1 Lite ontop, the Huawei Enjoy 5S sports a front facing 5MP camera and a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash. Connectivity options onboard includes – 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB port and GPS/A-GPS.

It has an Hybrid Dual SIM slot with Dual Standby, the fingerprint sensor is located just below the main camera and is backed by a 2200mAh battery.
