Huawei has announced an entry-level smartphone, the Honor 3C Play (or Honor 3C Play Edition), apparently in a bid to conquer the low-end market. The device fall into the category of affordable devices with entry level specs with 3G support as well as Dual-SIM capabilities.
Huawei Honor 3C Play
The Huawei Honor 3C play features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, powered by a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6582 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz, Mali400-MP2 GPU alongside 1GB of RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion. The device features a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies and video chats.
Connectivity options on the Honor 3C Play includes – Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G. The device is powered by a 2000mAh battery which is tipped to have 200 hours of standby time and the device runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with Huawei’s proprietary Emotion UI on top.
The Huawei Honor 3C Play would come in Black, Yellow, Pink, Blue and white colours and be made available for CNY 599 (€72 or $97) in chinese markets. The device is expected to hit other asian markets but availability internationally is yet to be known.
