Huawei is refreshing the hugely popular affordable Huawei Honor 4C smartphone Internal storage. The upgraded Honor 4C is tipped to launch as the Huawei Honor 4C Plus which is scheduled for September 14th and sales would start on September 15th.
The Huawei Honor 4C Plus (or upgraded Huawei Honor 4C) will ditch the 8GB internal storage on the Honor 4C for 16GB which has been the standard for most lower midrange smartphones nowadays along with 2GB of RAM. Asides the increase in internal storage, no other change(s) is mentioned.
This means the device will keep the same 5-inch HD TFT IPS display, powered by an octa-core Kirin 620 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, paired with 2GB RAM, 13MP main camera with LED flash, front facing 5MP camera, 4G LTE connectivity, measures 8.8mm in thickness and backed by a 2550mAh battery.
It is likely the Huawei Honor 4C Plus or whatever it ends up being called runs the same Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with Emotion UI 3.0 ontop or Huawei could just push the new variant with Android Lollipop OS with the company’s UI as usual.
There is no word on pricing yet but this new variant could add around CNY 50 or more to the existing CNY 799 price tag. Mark September 14th to get more information about this device.
