Huawei has launched a new midrange smartphone, the Huawei Honor 4X with 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC. The device was spotted on TENAA few days ago; this shows the company is ready for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Unsurprisingly more 64-bit architecture is expected on more mobile phones in the nearest future now that Android Lollipop is bearing on us.
Specs wise, the Huawei Honor 4X features a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 pixels display, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card for expansion. The highlight is obviously the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chipset which clocks around 1.4GHz.
Other specs features includes – Dual-SIM functionality, 4G LTE, 3G, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with EMUI 3.0 ontop, 13MP rear camera from sony, a 5MP front facing camera and a 3000mAh battery.
The Huawei Honor 4X is already available for pre-order and shipping starts on November 6. The price tag stands at CNY 1,299 ($212) and would be available in China; availability in other market is unknown as at time of announcement.
