After several weeks of leaks and rumours, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus (Glory 6 Plus) has finally been announced in China. The handset packs beastly specs including the octa-core Kirin 925 SoC.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus has a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixels display with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device comes with a microSD card slot for expansion up to 128GB.
Huawei explains the Honor 6 Plus comes with “Symmetrical dual camera technology”. The handset has two 8MP camera on its rear which can also take 13MP photos due to photo implementation. It also has a front facing 5MP camera for the selfie lovers.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus packs a 3600mAh battery and can also serve as a powerbank for other devices to charge their phones. The handset supports 4G LTE Cat.4 (up to 300Mbps) and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with Emotion UI.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus (Glory 6 Plus) is available in two SIM variants; a Dual SIM 3G model which costs around CNY 1999 (€258) and the other Dual SIM 4G-LTE model costs around CNY 2499 (€322). There is no word on availability outside China as at time of announcement.
A solid piece of device.. the Dual Camera is obviously the selling point.
