Huawei Honor 6 Plus Gold version now available; says it is more difficult to make than a Gold iPhone 6

The Huawei Honor 6 Plus went official towards the end of last year and is the current flagship smartphone from the company. The company today has officially announced a Gold version of the Honor 6 Plus and it is available in China for a price tag equivalent to $390 in China.



Huawei is touting the Huawei Honor 6 Plus Gold Version as being more difficult to make more than the Gold version of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus because the phone is entirely covered in the color. Mind you, the Honor 6 Plus is also sometimes called the Huawei Glory 6 Plus depending on the market. ‎

Moving to the specs, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus Gold version features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by the in-house made HiSilicon Kirin 925 processor with ARM Mali-T628 MP6 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. ‎

It comes with a symmetrical dual camera technology – 8-megapixels main camera which is interpolated to take up to 13-megapixels photos and a front-facing 8-megapixels camera for selfies and video chats. ‎


The device runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with the company’s Emotion UI ontop and a microSD card slot is also available which supports up to 128GB extra space. It supports supports standard connectivity options along with LTE connectivity, NFC, and is backed by an ample sized 3600mAh battery.‎
