Alongside the Huawei Honor 4C (Huawei Honor Play 4C) smartphone the company also unveiled two midrange tablets – the 7-inch Huawei Honor Play Pad and the 9.6-inch Huawei Honor Play Pad Note. The Honor Pad is priced at CNY 599 ($97) and the Honor Play Pad Note is priced at CNY 999 ($161).
The Huawei Honor Play Pad (Huawei Honor Pad) features a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum’s SC7731G processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot onboard for storage expansion up to 32GB.
The Honor Play Pad measures 8.5mm thick, weighs 278 grams, makes voice calls, supports Wi-Fi et 3G and has 2MP rear and front facing cameras. It runs on Android 4.4 kitkat OS with Emotion UI 3.0 ontop and backed by a 4100mAh battery.
The second is the Huawei Honor Play Pad Note sports a 9-inch 1280 x 800 pixels resolution display, powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Honor Play Pad Note does not make calls like the Honor Pad but it comes with a Micro SIM slot which makes accessing the Internet easy. Other specs details includes 5MP rear camera, Android 4.4 Kitkat Os with Emotion UI 3.0, measures 8.3mm thick and is backed by a 4800mAh battery.
