Huawei’s Honor series is about to welcome a new device. Chinese agency, TENAA has certified a new Huawei Honor series device with the codename EDI-DL00 and revealed most of the key specs including images. This giant phablet device is expected to launch as the Huawei Honor V8 Max.
Measuring 178.8 x 90.9 x 7.18mm and weighing 219 grams; the Huawei Honor V8 Max (Huawei EDI-DL00) sports a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixels (QHD) screen resolution and backed by a 4400mAh fast charging battery.
On the inside, the phablet relies on an octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz (likely the Kirin 950 SoC) with ARM Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.
In the camera department, there is a rear facing 13MP camera and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies and video chats. The Huawei Honor V8 Max has a fingerprint scanner, Dual SIM slots and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top.
The Honor V8 Max supports 4G LTE with VoLTE and is expected to launch on July 11th in two colours – Gold and Silver. There is no word on pricing yet.
