Chinese telecommunication certification agency, TENAA recently listed up the Huawei Mate 20 Lite (SNE-AL00) on its official website along with its key specs and photos. The device will reportedly go official later this year alongside the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro.
According to the listing, the Huawei Mate 20 Lite is built around a notched 6.3-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It measures 158.3 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm, weighs 172 grams and will depend on a lasting 3,650mAh battery.
On the inside, the device boots Android 8.1 Oreo OS with the company’s EMUI 8.2 on top and relies on the Kirin 710 octa-core 12nm processor with GPU Turbo Feature, 6GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. It also has a fingerprint sensor, Dual Nano SIM slots and no microSD card slot.
The Huawei Mate 20 Lite (SNE-AL00) is equipped with two vertically arranged rear cameras – 20MP + 2MP and dual front facing 24MP + 2MP cameras like the Huawei Nova 3i. Both cameras will have a number of AI-assisted features and portrait mode.
In other news, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is expected to feature triple rear cameras like the P20 Series, in-display fingerprint sensor and wireless charging. It should sport a 6.3-inch AMOLED display, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 4,000mAh battery and be powered by the yet to be announced Kirin 980 octa-core processor which is said to be manufactured using the 7nm FinFET process.
Huawei will reportedly unveil the Kirin 980 SoC during its keynote at the IFA 2018 later this month.
