The Huawei MediaPad M1 8.0 is one of those 8-inch tablet of 2014 which asides packing a good casing also came with some reasonable specs on-board. The LTE version of the above named tablet has been spotted on JATE ( Japan Approvals Institute For Telecommunications Equipment ), the Japanese certification authority similar to the FCC in the US or TENAA in China.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 8.0 LTE packs a 8-inch 1280 x 800 pixels HD display, powered by a a quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910 processor clocked at 1.6GHz with Mali-450MP GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage space.
On the back is a 5MP rear camera, a front facing 1MP camera, 4G LTE, DTS Sound technology, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 4.0, Dual Band Wi-Fi and a 4800mAh battery.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 8.0 LTE is expected to be announced for Japan soon. With barely not much altering with the specs, it is expected to keep if not the same price tag as its predecessor, it would cost a tad more.
