The Huawei Nova 2 Lite, a budget version of the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus is the latest addition to the Nova series family. The mid-ranger arrives with support for Huawei’s ‘Face Unlock’ facial recognition technology, dual rear cameras, 18:9 FullView display and boots Android 8.0 Oreo OS with Emotion UI (EMUI 8.0).
The Huawei Nova 2 Lite shares some specs with the newly released Honor 7C. The device sports a 5.99-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) HD+ FullView display with 18:9 Aspect Ratio and 2.5D curved glass, rear fingerprint sensor, front facing 8MP f/2.0 camera with soft LED flash, Dual SIM and microSD card slots. It measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8 mm, weighs 155 grams and depends on a 3,000mAh battery.
The Huawei Nova 2 Lite is available in two memory and storage models: the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. It will go on sale in the Philippines from March 24th for a price tag starting at PHP 9,990 (USD 192) and in Singapore from March 19th for SGD 298 (USD 226). Both are now pre-order and will arrive in Black and Blue colours.
