Huawei has begun rolling out the P8 Lite (2017) or Honor 8 Lite or Honor 8 Youth under a different moniker in markets like Japan and Singapore. The Huawei Nova Lite slots in behind the Nova and Nova Plus smartphones with a rear single 12MP f/2.2 camera.
The Huawei Nova Lite sports a fingerprint sensor (rear placed), 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) screen resolution, 431pp pixel density, Dual SIM slots, 3GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage, microSd card slot, front 8MP selfie camera and a 3000mAh battery.
The device supports 4G Cat.4 LTE networks and boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.0. Unlike the previous Nova smartphones with a Qualcomm processor, it is powered by Huawei’s in-house made Kirin 655 octa-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz.

In Singapore, the Huawei Nova Lite is priced at SGD 290 (USD 205) and will be handled by the country’s network operators – Singtel Mobile Singapore, M1, StarHub Mobile. It is also available in Japan bu there is no word on pricing.
