Weeks ago, Huawei unveiled its new photo-centric P30 series smartphones – the Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro alongside new accessories – the Huawei FreeLace (wireless earphones), new Huawei Watch GT (active and elegant editions) and Huawei X Gentlemonster Eyewear at the Paris Convention Center. The new phones are the successor to the Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei P20 smartphones.
Both the Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro feature FHD+ dewdrop display, 32MP Selfie camera with AI HDR+, in-display fingerprint sensor, Huawei Acoustic Display Technology, Kirin 980 octa-core SoC and boot EMUI 9.1 (based on Android 9 Pie). The P30 is equipped with Leica Triple camera – 40MP + 16MP + 8MP while the P30 Pro is equipped with Leica Quad camera – 40MP + 20MP + 8MP + ToF camera.

Huawei FreeLace
Available in Amber Sunrise, Emerald Green, Graphite Black and Moonlight Silver colours, the Huawei FreeLace wireless headphones support voice control and uses the HiPair feature to pair with and get fast charged by Huawei smartphones. It connects to the device via Bluetooth or USB Type-C connector and lasts up to 18 hours of audio playback or 13 hours of talk time on a single charge.
Huawei WATCH GT Active and Elegant Edition
Huawei has added new editions to the existing Huawei WATCH GT (Classic and Sport) smartwatch. The Huawei WATCH GT Active edition has the same 46mm watch face with 1.39-inch (454 x 454 pixels) AMOLED HD colour touchscreen while the Huawei WATCH GT Elegant edition has a smaller 42mm watch face with ceramic bezel, 1.2-inch (390 x 390 pixels) AMOLED HD colour touchscreen.
The Active Edition offers up to two weeks of battery life while the Elegant edition offers up to one week of battery life. Both models support various indoor and outdoor fitness activities including triathlon mode, 24-hours heart rate monitoring (TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring), TruSleep 2.0 scientific sleep tracking and can last up to 30 days of usage when used as a traditional watch.
