While Huawei has been confirmed to skip the MWC 2015 and announce the Huawei P8 at a standalone event in London on April 15th. New details have emerged that the company has two models of the P8 ready – the normal model – Huawei P8 and the Lite model – Huawei P8 Lite.

The Huawei P8 features a 5.2-inch Gorilla Glass 3 protected display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a pixels density amounting to 424ppi. Under the hood, we have the in-house made HiSilicon Kirin 930 CPU with 3GB of RAM, 32GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot (up to 128GB).
The rest of the specs includes – fingerprint sensor, 13MP main camera with OIS, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and 2600mAh battery.
While this leak is unconfirmed, the Huawei P8 Lite model would see the smartphone shed some of its key specs. It would now come with a 5.2-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels), it would be powered by a lesser processor (it would still be Kirin SoC), no fingerprint sensor, 2GB of RAM but it would keep the 13MP camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
When Huawei announces the P8 in April we would know for sure if it would have two models; the normal model could cost around $480 when it goes official.
