Huawei is expected to announce the successor of the Huawei Ascend P7; the Huawei Ascend P8 is expected that device. We laid hand on a supposed leaked roadmap from the company which details of the upcoming device as well as some brief details of some others.
First of all, there has been media buzz that Huawei is dropping the ‘Ascend’ moniker from its smartphones name – so the Huawei Ascend P8 is said to be called the Huawei P8 and another device which is said to be in the works is the successor to the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 which could end up being called the Huawei Mate 8.
As early as November last year, hands were laid on some supposed specs of the Huawei P8. We finally have more details about the upcoming flagship as the device has surfaced in the press in full glory and most of its key specs is known.
The Huawei P8 has the same design as it’s predecessor; it features 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by Huawei made 64-bit Kirin 930 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage.
On the rear, we have a 13MP camera with OIS, it would run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and comes with a 2600mAh battery. According to the leaked roadmap we have its was supposed to come with 5-inch display and unveiled at the CES 2015.
With the CES firmly behind us, the next could be at the MWC 2015 or a separate event in April as some sources claim.
