There has been several reports about the upcoming Huawei P8 smartphone and we know it is expected to be unveiled on April 15th in an event in London. There are new reports that a toned down version of the P8 flagship, the Huawei P8 Lite is expected to be unveiled too.
A Huawei device has been spotted on TENAA with the model number ALE-UL00; the device is supposed to be the Huawei P8 Lite and has been certified for China. It also has the same design language as the P8.
The Huawei P8 Lite (Huawei ALE-UL00) specs are – a 5-inch display with (1280 x 720 pixels) HD TFT display resolution; 1.2GHz octa-core processor (expected to be a Hi-Silicon Kirin one) with 2GB of RAM, 13MP main camera with Dual LED flash and 5MP front camera.
The lite version is not expected to have a fingerprint Sensor like it’s older brother. It measures 143 x 70.6 x 7.7mm, weighs around 131 grams, supports 4G LTE (LTE FDD & TD-LTE) and is expected to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Huawei’s Emotion UI ontop.
For a refresher, the P8 is expected to sport a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display; powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 930 SoC which clocks at 2GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. Other specs of the Huawei P8 includes – 13MP main camera with OIS, fingerprint sensor, 2600mAh battery, measures 144.90 x 71.90 x 6.6mm in dimension and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
