Huawei P8 Max specs leaks: 6.8-inch display and Android Lollipop OS

Huawei like most companies visited the MWC 2015 which is already over; but didn’t unveil the rumoured Huawei P8 smartphone which is supposed the kickoff life without the Ascend name from the company’s flagship. The Huawei P8 is expected to now launch at a standalone event in April. New reports now suggests that the smartphone would come with a bigger variant called the Huawei P8 Max.

The Huawei P8 Max specs has leaked out and we also happen to have some images of the upcoming Huawei P8 which emphasises the device’s slim profile. It is expected to be a phablet version of the Huawei P8; asides the screen display and some not so major details – both devices could have very similar specs.

The P8 Max has a 6.8-inch display with an unknown resolution but it is expected to be nothing less than a (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD resolution. Asides the display size much is unkown yet but It could be powered by the company’s inhouse 64-bit Kirin 930 octa-core processor built 16nm TSMC manufacturing process. 

Other specs could includes – 2GB or 3GB RAM, 13MP main camera with OIS, a front facing selfie camera, and a battery capacity up to 3000mAh. It could also run Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with the company’s Emotion UI ontop.

The leaked images of the Huawei P8 also confirms the 6.0mm thin body which makes it thinner than the Ascend P7 (6.5mm). The smartphone is expected to don a 5.2-inch Full HD display, powered by Kirin 930, 3GB of RAM, 32GB space of internal storage, a 2600mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Emotion UI.

The Huawei P8 launch date is expected to be in April, whether the P8 Max would debut alongside it is unknown yet. We should see more of the device in series of leaks soon.
